Where two great trails cross paths.

Skycroft is one of the rare places where the Cataraqui Trail and the Rideau Trail intersect, making it a natural rest point for hikers, cyclists, and cross-Canada adventurers.

Travellers moving between Kingston and Ottawa along the Rideau Trail often find Skycroft to be an oasis on the journey — a place to relax, recharge, and gather energy before continuing on. Adventurers coming off the Cataraqui Trail, also part of The Great Trail of Canada, discover the same: a welcoming stop surrounded by forest, lake, and the quiet beauty of Opinicon Lake.
